Scott Morrison named Nov. BBL MVP

JELGAVA, Latvia — Tartu Rock’s Scott Morrison has been named the Baltic Basketball League MVP for the month of November.

The Canadian native had a sound month for the Estonian team, often being the difference between victory and defeat, and more often the difference between mere losses and heavy defeats.

Averaging just under 16 points and 8 rebounds a game for the month of November, the highlight for Morrison was achieving a double-double (19 points, 11 rebounds) on the road against VEF Riga.

Talking to www.bbl.net on the achievement, Morrison said he was honored to be selected the award but was quick to emphasize that he would happily trade it for a few more wins, with Rock having managed just three wins to date from nine games.
