KAUNAS, Lithuania — Police are investigating an explosion that damaged the doors of a Rimi supermarket in Kaunas on Tuesday evening.
The blast, which hurt no one, is of unknown origin and did not cause enough damage to allow access to the shop.
The blast on Tvirtovės alley occurred at around 10:20 p.m.
Rimi representative Jovita Bagdonaitė told media that the shop was closed at the time of the explosion and that police would begin investigating as soon as possible. The shop involved in the incident would open for trade at 11 a.m. she added.
