KLAIPĖDA, Lithuania — A car containing firearms and explosives was discovered by police parked near the Klaipėda County police headquarters Wednesday afternoon.

The car contained a hand grenade and pistol. Police are currently not giving additional details on the case.

Klaipėda police have recently been on a narcotics-busting campaign. In January more than 500 kg of cocaine was found by police in a ship docked in the Port of Klaipėda.
