VILNIUS — A Lithuanian woman in Ireland received the first haircut of her adult life and is planning on selling the hair for vacation money.

Violeta Salaseviciene, 58 of Vilkaviškis in southern Lithuania flew to Dublin to visit relatives and [private_supervisor] decided to give her foot-length hair its first proper cut since she was a child. While she had a few trims, she really let it grow out until last week’s visit to Waldorf Barbers. With the hairdresser’s assistance she plans on selling the hair on eBay, where she said it may fetch up to €800.

Salaseviciene told the Irish media that she will use the money to pay for her trip, and if she has any leftover perhaps another vacation.

“Maybe I will have a trip to Greece,” Violeta told Herald.ie.
