VILNIUS — South Korea has informed the Lithuanian government that it intends to open an embassy in Vilnius to help facilitate increased investment in the Baltic states.
This will be South Korea’s first embassy in the three countries; currently its citizens needs are in the Baltic states are currently served by it’s Danish embassy.
An opening date for the embassy has not been announced yet. Meanwhile a delegation from the Korean government has been meeting with Lithuanian officials to discuss increasing ties between the two countries this week.
