ABERDEEN, Scotland — A Lithuanian man has pledged to give up one of his favorite past times, binge drinking, after a court fined him £600 (€663) for attacking police with his penis.

Marium Varinauskas, who lives in Scotland, was fined by Aberdeen Sheriff Court for lunging at a female police officer with his penis. Police were called to Varinauskas’ flat by his girlfriend who has had problems with his drinking in the past.

Varinauskas was sitting on the couch, heavily intoxicated, in just his underwear when police entered the flat. The 28-year-old then pulled out his penis and tried to hit the female police officer’s head with it.

“The accused got to his feet and was standing over the police officer exposing his penis and thrusting it in her face, forcing her to take evasive action to avoid getting struck,” lawyers told the court.

Varinauskas pleaded guilty to the charge because he couldn’t remember the incident and therefore didn’t want to challenge the police’s version of events.

His lawyer told the court that he had never been so drunk in his life and vows to reform himself.
