Rodiklis goes bankrupt

KAUNAS, Lithuania — In a sign that Lithuania is still not out of the woods, one of the country’s biggest advertising agencies Rodiklis filed for bankruptcy on Thursday.

The crisis has squeezed the media and advertising market severely and many media organizations have been shut down or cut pages or transmission times because so few companies are advertising.

Despite only publicly filing for [private_supervisor]bankruptcy now, the company has been in administration since Dec. 24 last year.

Any crediting entities or people who want to submit claims against the company registered at 60-434 K. Donelaičio street, Kaunas, have up until May 21 to do so.

Verslo Žinios reported that a number of employees have submitted claims against the company already.

The company’s former clients included Maxima, Senukai, banks and media companies among others.
