TALLINN — Estonia’s leading beverage manufacturer A. Le Coq recorded its best sales results in June 2010 by selling 6.9 million liters of beer in Estonia and beating the last record in 2008 when 6.3 million liters were sold.
The brewery’s beer sales went up by 14 percent compared to last year’s result. The company also sold 1.9 million liters of soft drinks in June expanding its results by 22 percent than last year.
Tarmo Noop, CEO of A. Le Coq told the media that good marketing and product launches were to blame for the record-high results.
“ A. Le Coq Premium Extra and the launch of Estonia’s first corn beer Maiz are behind of successful beer sales,” said Noop. “Also Alexandria beer showed very good sales numbers doubling the last year’s results.”
