TALLINN — There’s good news for the animal lovers in Tallinn as both a dog show and a horse show are taking place in Tallinn this month.
Cute eyes and well-groomed fur will be on display at the March 6 dog show put on by the Tallinn Regional Dog Breeders Club.
Different breeds including [private_supervisor]German shepherds, rottweiler, Welsh corgi, Majorca mastiff, German pincher, Gordon setter, Estonian hound, American akita and more will be featured.
The show includes eight different rounds, each has an international judge to judge the pet’s performance and looks. There are several prizes, divided by breed. The winner, who matches the ideal will win 50 krooni (€3.20) discount to the summer dog exhibitions.
A full ticket price is 20 krooni (€1.30) while students, pensioners, and teachers only need to pay 10 krooni (€0.60). Tickets are available at the event only. More info can be found at the organization’s website.

For those with equestrian interests there’s the annual Tallinn International Horse Show. Unlike earlier years, this time the event will host Central European League Final World Cup with nearly 70 equestrian athletes with more than 160 horses. The most common contest is steeplechase.
The show will be held from March 18 to 21, and the ticket prices vary from 150 krooni (€9.6) to 650 krooni (€41.5). If you hold an American Express credit card, then you will get a 10 percent discount.
