RIGA — Four more people have died from swine flu over the holidays in Latvia, the country’s Infectious Diseases Center reported, taking the total to 28 deaths.

The virus’ spread appears to be slowing in the country — now only 65 people per 100,000 residents are estimated to be infected, down from over 500 cases per 100,000 residents at its peak.
