RIGA — In conjunction with Viasat, the TrioBet Baltic League has announced its fall schedule, including televised games for the round of last 16. The home-leg games will take place on Sept. 22 and 23 while the return-legs will take place on Oct. 27 and 28.
Viasat have confirmed that through their sports channel, Viasat Sport Baltic that they will show four games, one from each match-day during prime-time television. Latvian and Estonian teams will feature three times, Lithuanian teams will feature twice. For the other matches, the starting times vary, taking into consideration factors such as lighting available at the respective stadiums.
Baltic League CEO Christian Happel said that the main factor in choosing games for TV coverage was that coverage was given to teams representing all three nations.
