VILNIUS — A fire broke out in a wooden house on the southern bank of the Neris River Sunday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

The fire was reported at 3:51 p.m. and was located in the second story of the home, located on Žygimantų Street next to the Congress Hotel. It caused major damage to that floor and the roof. A woman was rescued from the burning house by firefighters.

The cause of the fire has not been determined yet. The blaze was put out in about 2 hours.
