KAUNAS, Lithuania — Police reported that three mysterious deaths occurred in one day in Kaunas, the cause of which remains unclear.

The bodies were found in different locations and seem to have died from different circumstances.

One man’s body found at 7.54 a.m. had a graze on the back of his head and was taken to the morgue for examination. Police were called to the scene after a neighbor spotted the man’s body.

At 10.40 a.m. a woman was found dead in her toilet with bruising around the eye. Again, the cause of death was unknown and she was taken to the morgue.

Finally at 11.48 a.m. a man without any external traces of injury was found dead in the city center on the side of the road.

No additional information about the deaths is being released at this time, and the incidents remain under investigation.
