Two more mysterious deaths in Kaunas

KAUNAS, Lithuania — Two murdered elderly people were discovered with knife wounds in their garden house in yet another suspicious case in Kaunas.

Kaunas has seen a string of mysterious deaths recently. Three bodies were recovered by police last week. All of the deaths were considered to be suspicious and the cause of death was unknown in each case.

The murder of the elderly couple has again baffled [private_supervisor]police as they can’t work out the motive behind the attack.

The woman, 79, was found with slash wounds in her neck and her husband, 72, was found with stab wounds to the chest.

When police arrived they found the door locked and had to break in. Police believe that no valuables were removed from the garden house, where the couple lived permanently, possibly ruling out robbery.
